I’m not going to lie here – I’m a bit worried about the changes coming to Destiny’s limited-time mode, Rumble. Basically, it’s a limited-time mode that you can play by yourself, which means it’s been a bit of a steal for players who’ve been getting their hands on the DLC. Now, Rumble is going to change. In a few weeks, it’s going to go from a limited-time mode that only a few people can play to a limited-time mode that you can play with your friends.
A lot of big changes are coming to Star Wars Battlefront II’s upcoming DLC Star Wars Battlefront II: The Last Jedi, and they’re not nearly as fun as the regular game. Developer DICE has confirmed that there will be new weapons, heroes, and starfighters that will be making their way into the game, but what you’ve all been waiting for is the new content’s impact to how the game’s balance is skewed. Two of the biggest changes are the new playable heroes, namely Rey and Kylo Ren, and the new primary weapons to use alongside Luke, Leia, and other old-school weapon types.
Now that we know Valheim’s Hearth and Home update is coming on September 16th, it’s only natural that the Iron Gate developers would want to show off what’s in store, which they have done with a series of video previews, the first of which discussed improvements to the food system.
Because each movie is just about a minute long, the details are somewhat reduced, yet there are still enough of them. Health and stamina mechanics, for example, are linked to stamina food and health food, with the former allowing players to attack more and the latter being ideal for tanking due to a large health pool affecting shield usage and a new stagger meter. When it comes to shields, tower shields will receive a knockback boost, bucklers will allow players to parry attacks, and round shields will remain a balanced choice.
Returning to food, certain meat kinds dropped by particular animals and the inclusion of cooking extension items that open up additional cauldron recipes have resulted in changes to recipes and cooking in general. A unique fruit will also allow player Vikings to vomit up their presently active food boost and replace it with a fresh one (ew). Finally, weapon improvements are on the way, including boosts for the battle axe and tweaks to the bow to make it seem less powerful.
