Palia is a multiplayer, fantasy-based RPG that’s been in development since 2016. It’s still in pre-alpha and it will be awhile before the game leaves alpha, but this is a good time to check out what you missed.
Palia wraps up the pre-alpha test you didn’t get to play. The game is set in a fantasy world where players are able to create their own character and take on quests.
What happens when your game’s announcement generates much more interest than your testing program can accommodate? That’s what it is: a slew of curious people on the exterior of a building, cupping their faces and peering through the frosted glass at the marvels inside.
This was the case with Palia this summer, which created a big impact with its first presentation but then disappointed a lot of people when just a small percentage of interested players were accepted to the pre-alpha. Now that the test is done, at least those of us who were left out can see what it was like to be a part of it.
Singularity Six published some of the testers’ testimonies (along with pictures) in a pre-alpha wrap-up article, promising that the next testing phase would involve more players. The pre-alpha testers also assisted in the discovery of 78,650 problems, according to the company (while also baking 153 pies).
Singularity Six said, “Although we were only able to invite a tiny proportion of participants into this round of testing, it was an important chance to evaluate not just our technological systems, but the aspirational seeds of the vision and ideals that had been carefully sown.”
Palia is a new game that will be available on the Steam store. The pre-alpha test for the game wrapped up, and now the developers are wrapping up the final touches before launch. Reference: palia game price.
